Gidsen
Wat zijn de Gidsen?
Na de Kabouters gaan de meiden naar de Gidsen. Hier komen zij 8 jaar lang (11 tot 18) iedere week bij elkaar om samen veel plezier te maken. Bij De Schouw hanteren wij de namen Gidsen voor de meiden en Verkenners voor de jongens. Na de Gidsen is er voor de meiden de mogelijkheid om leiding te worden bij de Bevers, Kabouters of om met een nieuw leidingteam de jongste Gidsengroep op te starten.
De 8 Gidsengroepen ondernemen samen ook een aantal activiteiten waaronder het Gidsenkamp.
Op De Schouw draaien wij ‘horizontaal’, dat wil zeggen dat alle kinderen in 1 groep van hetzelfde schooljaar zijn en dat zij vanaf de Bevers met dezelfde groep bij elkaar blijven. Dit leidt vaak tot hechte vriend(inn)en clubs, ook nadat de groep is gestopt.
De Gidsen doorlopen met hun eigen leiding de Scouting speltakken Scouts, Explorers en Roverscouts.
